At SoundBite's second outing in L.A., our intrepid diners gathered at Culver Studios (historic lot where Gone With the Wind, Citizen Kane, and Rocky were filmed) to savor the fruits of our chefs' feverish foodie fantasies inspired by indie rock tracks by The Black Heartthrobs.

A sensory overload that propelled us across continents began with the pungent aromas of bite-size samosas on a bed of scorched spices. Next, a 'Californian as F' salad followed by hearty rabbit, then lamb belly tikka masala. Next, a fish in cow's clothing (ask Chef Rob), all topped by a floral Lebanese ashta so light it damn nigh levitated above the plate.
