A multi-sensory dining experience made for everyone who loves great food and music.

The idea for SoundBite arose after founder, Nick Brune, returned to his San Diego restaurant from an emotional trip to his hometown, New Orleans. Mid-service, the aromas of crawfish and a familiar jazz song stopped him in his tracks and transported him back to good times with friends and family. 

Struck by the power of food and music, Nick saw an opportunity for local chefs and musicians to come together, push food boundaries and spread a little joy. SoundBite Dinner was born.

It’s thought-provoking. Experimental. An explosion of sound, taste and texture. A chance for Southern California’s top chefs to flex their creativity as they create six one-off dishes inspired by six original tracks performed on the night by local musicians.
